Description
The 45 RPM-7" record was the most popular form of a vinyl single. The RCA Victor Company introduced this new concept in March 1949 as a replacement for the 78 RPM record . The first generation of 45 rpm records were monaural and included songs on both sides and it was doing the 1960's that stereo recordings replaced the monaural sounds.
